PASSIONATE ABOUT OPERA EDUCATION

Passionate about opera education, Emily is in demand as a workshop leader, incorporating musical direction, vocal coaching and song writing.

She has worked extensively with the Learning and Participation departments of the following companies: Royal Opera House, Garsington Opera, English National Opera, Opera North, Southbank Centre, EPOC/Music Platform, Surrey Arts, Mahogany Opera and Southward Splash, as well as running independent workshops for schools and groups up and down the country.

Emily was the founding Music Director for Primary Operatunity, a three year project generously sponsored by Barclays Bank to bring introductory opera workshops to the Merthyr Tydfill region.

Emily is a member of the visiting music staff at Walthamstow Hall Independent School in Sevenoaks, running their chamber choir, ensembles and vocal workshops, as well as working as Music Director and vocal coach for the drama department.
